Speaking Engagements

Anton Hopen presents to high schools on innovation and technology for USF's Young Innovator CompetitionMotivate High School Students to Innovate: Between September 2010 and January 2011, your school can schedule a free speaking engagement with USF outside intellectual property counsel Anton Hopen (PDF flyer).  The message to students includes video, music, and images that inextricably connect the technology around them with opportunities only available through continued education.  Attendees will be encouraged to create solutions to problems around them and enter them into the USF competition.

Tampa Bay area high school students are invited to compete for a $1,000 cash prize for the student and another $1,000 for their own school.  The University of South Florida’s Third Annual Young Innovator Competition seeks the most innovative and creative inventions from students in the Tampa Bay area.

Only a limited number of presentation dates are available.  Please RSVP with Kari McDermott at (813) 925-8505 to book your school’s free one hour presentation on innovation.
